Barlow Andrews Sponsorship Update Posted at: March 9, 2020 Posted in: Uncategorized Our sister company, Barlow Andrews have again chosen to sponsor the ‘MCR BMX National Team’ for 2020 The MCR BMX Team attended rounds 1 & 2 of the 2020 HSBC National BMX Series over the weekend racing on both Saturday and Sunday. This year the series is using transponders to help with the recording of the race results providing live timings and on the spot results. With the introduction of the transponders we saw a hectic Saturday morning for the younger age group and cruiser riders getting everyone signed in and ready before practice and racing. Both days saw some amazing racing from the team along with plenty of team spirit cheering each other on. Unfortunately we had some fallen riders who are now recovering with broken wrists and a few bruises we wish them a speedy recovery and hope to see them back track side training and racing again soon. There was some podium places throughout the weekend along with trophies for the younger age categories. The winter training massively paid off for some of the team seeing some excellent race results compared to the previous season, for the ones that didn’t quite get the results they wanted we are back training and looking forward to the next 2 rounds at Birmingham during the weekend 4th & 5th April.
